What you will be doing
- Ability to review a technical software specification in order to create a test plan
- Responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of thorough requirements-based testing
- Work hand in hand with development and product to understand and provide test solutions for wide range of complex problems
- Mentor other test engineers where applicable
- Ensure that work meets or exceeds project performance, reliability, and quality goals
- Plan and execute process and equipment qualification activities
- Effectively communicate with other departments on quality and compliance issues
- Develop validation strategies for new projects and processes that are consistent
- Implement processes to monitor product performance, compliance and reliability
- Participate in data reviews
- Submission of detailed bug reports which provide enough debug information for the development teams to quickly resolve all product defects
- Comfortably automate medium complexity test scenarios with limited supervision
- Debug problems to point where the failure is happening (i.e.: is this a bug in the API?)
- Have working knowledge on the tools used on QA, including:
- Cucumber
- Ruby
- Git / Gerrit
- Ruby gem PageObject
- Watir
- WebDriver
- PHP Unit
- SauceLabs
- Shell scripting (for task automation)
- Jenkins (for knowledge on how we build our software)
- Command line tools (for preparing the system/data on the staging system)
What we expect from you
- Completed university degree in a technical discipline or similar qualification
- Experience required 3+ years in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Quality Control
- Good communication, organization and technical writing skills
- Strong programming experience in one or more of development languages is a must
- Experience in testing Unix file system
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP
- Further Software validation skills
- Ability to work independently, structured working style and high team ability
- Passion for internet and an entrepreneurial attitude
- Proactivity
- Strong English knowledge
